Organic Fluorides<<Hexafluoropropylene Oxide(HFPO)
Hexafluoropropylene Oxide
(HFPO)
Appearane£º
colorless,non-combustible gas with a light odor.
Common names:
Hexafluoropropylene Oxide, Hexafluoropropene Oxide, Hexafluoroproylene Epoxide, Hexafluoropropene Epoxide.
Applications:
HFPO is used in the manufacture of high-quality fluorinated products including Hexafluoroacetone (HFA), Bisphenol AF, perfluoro propyl vinyl ethers (PPVE), perfluoro [2-(fluorosulfonylethoxy)-propyl] vinyl ether (PSVE), perfluorinated polyethers (PFPE).
Note: PPVE can be used as co-monomer with tetrafluoroethylene (TFE) to produce PFA; PSVE can be used as co-monomer with TFE to produce perfluorosulfonic acid-TFE copolymer (NAFION polymer); PFPE is a high-end fluorochemical widely used as inert liquids, heat transfer, testing liquid, and lubricant, etc.
